Ward (27-0, 14 knockouts), Mayweather and Pacquiao were nominated alongside MMA fighters Jon "Bones" Jones and Ronda Rousey in the category.

"I want to thank ESPN for nominating me in the 'Best Fighter' category. I am in great company with some of the top fighters in the world. The ESPY experience is something that every athlete would enjoy," said Ward, 30, who was also nominated in 2012. Read full Story...

We are talking about Abner Mares vs Jonathan Oquendo, which is the co-main event in the “Honor & Glory: Canelo Alvarez vs. Erislandy Lara” SHOWTIME PPV ®event. On the call we have both fighters and we have Stephen Espinoza of SHOWTIME Sports and President and Founder of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya.

Bradley Cotto Bradley vs. Cotto  timothy bradley miguel cotto Former WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley could be fighting for the WBC middleweight title against Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO’s) in December without being ranked in the division, says Steve Kim. There’s still nothing official yet, but the word is that Bradley has been offered a fight against the 33-year-old Cotto at a catch-weight of 156 pounds to accommodate him.

Bradley has never fought above welterweight before, but now he’ll be skipping the junior middleweight division and going straight to middleweight to fight for the title against WBC champ Miguel Cotto. Read full Story...

Wow Amir. That like... it stinks.

With Roach, Pacquiao would utilize his unique gifts to defeat Amir Khan.I read those comments and it leads you to make that real scrunchy face. The one you make after your 300lb cousin annihilated the bathroom after feeling the effects of Taco Bell.

No spray.

No Warning.

No police tape covering the damn door.

However prescient Khan thought his remarks to be - after abandoning a Freddie Roach who was about as cold as a homeless man caught in a Chicago winter at the time - I wonder how he approaches them now roughly two years later. Read full Story...

Thanks, everybody for joining us today on the call. We do have a super undercard to talk about, the undercard for Canelo vs. Lara PPV on Saturday, July 12th. And we have four of the fighters on that card joining us today, along with Oscar De La Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions.

Before I get to that just a quick program note that I just got, Showtime’s All Access Canelo vs. Lara, the first segment will be Friday, June 27th at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time and Pacific Time. So just please make note of that. And for this call today we are going to start with the opening Pay-Per-View bout, which is between Johan Perez and Mauricio Herrera.
