By Chris Williams: With just two weeks to go before the July 19th fight between Guillermo Rigondeaux (13-0, 8 KO’s) vs. Sod Kokietgym (63-2-1, 28 KO’s) at the Cotai Arena, Venetian Resort, in Macao, Macao S.A.R., China, tickets are still available for the card.
It’s not surprising though because by sticking the fight in Macao, China, Bob Arum of Top Rank has put superb fighters like Rigondeaux in a position where they’re not able to fight in front of large crowds in the United States.
The card, if it’s going to sell out, it’ll be due to flyweight contender Zou Shiming (4-0, 1 KO’s) fighting on in against Luis De La Rosa (23-3-1, 13 KO’s) and flyweight Brian Viloria (33-4, 19 KO’s) fighting Jose Alfredo Zuniga (11-5-1, 5 KO’s).
